Scope of work
What’s in a kitchen remodel?
Ten trades, one contract, one project manager. No chasing subcontractors and no gaps between scopes — which is the whole argument for design-build.

Do you handle the permits?
Yes. We apply to your city or county, manage plan check and coordinate inspections as part of the project. You never stand in a permit line.
Will I see the kitchen before work starts?
Yes. Your NuHome designer builds a 3D model of the space, so you can see the layout and the finishes before a single cabinet is ordered.
Are you licensed?
Yes — California contractor licence #1069117, classification B (General). NuHome has been remodelling Bay Area homes since 2011.
Who runs my project day to day?
A dedicated project manager, an on-site foreman and a hand-selected crew. The same people from the first walkthrough to the last inspection.
What does a consultation cost?
Nothing. The in-home consultation and the estimate that follows are free, with no obligation.
